1. Why do this for spring break, verses sleeping in or going to a tropical locale?
- Honestly, I didn't want to go home and I thought, "What the heck, I've never seen Alabama."
2. What expectations do you have?
- I don't even know what to expect. I guess I'll just have to be surprised.
3. Do you have any fears or anxieties?
- I'm hoping that I can be sensitive to these people's situation and what they went through. I also hope I do a good job on the drywalling, or else we'll have to come back again next Spring break to fix it :\
4. Who knows you're going on this trip? How are they 'supporting' you during this trip?
- My family and my home congregation and my friends know...so basically everyone. My church was awesome enough to help out financially, and we're also blessed to be able to take some quilts down with us that were sewn by the quilting ladies at my church. Plus they sent food. I've gotten a lot of support.
Overall, I'm pretty stoked, and I can't wait to share pictures and thoughts with you all along the way!!

Thanks for sharing! It sounds like you are having a fantastic (and transformative) trip thus far. I also have heard something about you being a part of "triplets"... now there is trouble with a capital "T!"
