Hi Everyone!
Today's drive set the stage for what should be an AWESOME week! The ride was smooth, quick and for the most part painless. We left Lincoln around 8:00 am and rolled into Cape Girardeau Missouri around 5:30 pm. After visiting the Illinois side of the Mississippi and snapping a few photos, we visited the historic downtown area. 
Dinner consisted of some delicious chipolte soup and corn chips. After cleaning up our bowls we got a quick introduction to what we'll be doing the rest of the week. Please continue to keep us in your prayers [we might need it ;) ], and also check back tomorrow for another entry. We're ready and rarin' to hit the road again so we better get some sleep!
