We're half way there!!!

This is our sophisticated pose, and the only time the word 'sophisticated' will come up for the rest of the trip.
Here we are admiring the Mississippi river from the Missouri side.
Teaching Sarah how to throw rocks on the Illinois side of the river as the sun sets.


Packing up to leave today we watched as Tyler loaded our luggage and took care of us all to be ready for our trip. Loading the food, filling the van with gas and his other various duties have won him the title of our dad for the trip. He and Crystal, AKA mom, took turns driving and are dealing with their 5 spoiled children rather well. The abnoxious toddler triplets Becky, Logan and Sarah have been driving each other crazy all day. Let's just say there's more lisping and Strong Bad than I know what to do with. My ability to sleep through any car ride earned me the title of the baby. And Daniel is the older brother who has to put up with us all.
All in all it was a good day and we will be in Alabama tomorrow!!!
